The visiting Under-Secretary General of the United Nations, Prof. Philippe Douste-Blazy, paid a courtesy call on the Right Honorable President Mrs Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas, on 17th of October 2016. During the meeting, the subjects such as growing cooperation between Nepal and the United Nations and its consolidation featured in the discussion. On the occasion, the French Ambassador to Nepal His Excellency Mr Yves Carmona and the high placed officials of the Office of the President were also present.
