On the occasion of Tamu Lhosar, the great festival of Tamu Gurung community, I would like to express my heartfelt auspicious good wishes to all Nepalese Tamu Gurung communities residing home and abroad for delight, peace, prosperity, good health, happiness, and steady progress.
Nepal is a rich country in terms of religion and culture. The numerous people of different caste and ethnicity and their religions, cultures, arts, customs, festivals, carnivals, specials days of celebrations, and cultural heritages are the markers of our national identity which have distinguished Nepal in the world. By conserving and propagating these heritages in an appropriate manner, it is our common responsibility to maintain national unity, social goodwill, tolerance, and cooperation by fostering unity in diversity.
I wish that may this festival create enthusiasm and delight to contribute in conserving and propagating our arts, cultures, and traditions and create mutual unity and tolerance among all Nepalese so that an affluent country could be established.
