The Right Honourable President Mrs Bidya Devi Bhandari attended a felicitation ceremony organized by Mid-Western University at Rastriya Sabhagriha Kathmandu today the 5th of September 2016 and conferred the degree of Ph. D. (honoris causa) to litterateur Ms Jhamak Ghimire. Addressing the ceremony, the President complimented the contributions of Ms Ghimire to Nepali literature and congratulated her for being conferred on an Honorary Ph. D. and anticipated more of literary contributions from her. The ceremony was attended by the Right Honorable Prime Minister, Honorable Minister of Education, Vice-Chancellor of the university in addition to the distinguished personalities from literary, academic and educational sectors.
