Rt. Hon. President Ramchandra Paudel received a courtesy call from H.E. Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, at the Office of the President, Maharajgunj today.
During the meeting, Rt. Hon. President said that Nepal attaches high importance to its relations with the United Nations, and commended the UN and its specialized agencies for providing continuous support to Nepal in the areas such as soci0-economic development, sustainable development goals (SDGs) and peace keeping among others through several UN Programs. He also raised his concern over the deteriorating impacts of climate change and said that this global agenda demands collective actions from all.
