The Right Honorable Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun and the Right Honorable Prime Minister Puspa Kamal Dahal
“Prachanda” called on with the Right Honorable President Mrs Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal
Niwas, on 13 September 2016. At the meeting, the Right Honorable Vice-President apprised Her Excellency of his
imminent visit beginning tomorrow the 14th September 2016 to Venezuela to participate in the 17th summit
conference of non-aligned countries. Likewise, the Prime Minister informed Her Excellency about his impending visit
to friendly country Republic of India beginning from 15th of September, and he also elaborated on the different
programs and aspects of the visit along with the contemporary circumstances.
Expressing her happiness over the high level visits to the foreign countries, the Right Honorable President wished all
success of 17th summit conference of non-aligned countries and also genuinely wished both the Vice-President and
the Prime Minister all success of their respective visits. The Honorable Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan
Mahat, the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, the secretary of the Office of the President, the secretary of
Ministry of Foreign Affairs including other high placed officials were also present on the occasion.
