The Right Honorable President Mrs Bidya Devi Bhandari graced a farewell meeting with His Excellency Mr Vutti
Vuttisant, the Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas, on 26th of September
2016. During the meeting, a range of subject matters came into discussion including the close political, cultural, and
commercial relations between Nepal and Thailand including the similarity of perspectives on international affairs
and forums. During the meeting, the Right Honorable President thanked the government and the people of Thailand
for their assistance to Nepal during and after the devastating earthquake last year and complimented His Excellency
the Ambassador’s commendable role during his tenure in Nepal.
