On the occasion of the great festival of Kirantis, I would like to express my heartfelt good wishes to all Nepalese Kiranti brothers and sisters residing at home and abroad for their good health, happiness, peace, mutual goodwill, unity, brotherhood, and steady progress.
The festivals like this contribute to foster important opportunities for social and family gatherings, entertainments and exchanges of happiness, thereby enhancing mutual good relations, social unity, and goodwill. It is our duty to involve ourselves in sustaining and strengthening the social goodwill and unity created by such festivals celebrated in our country of rich religious and cultural diversity.
I wish that may this great festival Udhauli inspire us all to move forward by ensuring the rights of all people guaranteed by the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.
